You and your healthcare provider should work together to decide which medicines are safe for you to take during pregnancy.  However, it’s also great to have access to expert information as well. 

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is the world’s leading research center for medication safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding.  They’ve created an app called MommyMeds.  This app allows you to search by name or even scan in a code from your medicine to get up-to-date, expert advice on the safety of that med.  They also provide a number you can call to ask experts questions about over-the-counter and prescription medicine.  What a great resource!
